Branding & Communications Guide for Grant Recipients

Thank you for contributing to the Resilient CARE program — a collaborative initiative to strengthen health, disaster and climate resilience through locally led solutions. This guide outlines how to acknowledge the program and funding in your materials, and how to use Resilient CARE branding appropriately.

All materials relating to activities or services funded through the Resilient CARE program should use both the funding statement and logo where possible.

Please include one of the following funding statements in any public-facing materials related to your funded activity (e.g. flyers, websites, social media posts, reports):

Full version (preferred)

This [project/service] is funded by Country to Coast Queensland (CCQ) through the Australian Government’s PHN program and is supported by the Resilient CARE program, a partnership between CCQ and Australian Business Volunteers.

Short version

This [project/initiative/service] is funded by Country to Coast Queensland through the PHN program and is supported by the Resilient CARE program.

Please ensure both the Country to Coast Queensland/PHN and Resilient CARE logos are included on all relevant materials. Combined logo files (landscape and stacked) are supplied for ease of use.

Guidance for logo use:
  • Use only the approved versions provided
  • Do not stretch, recolour, crop or modify in any way
  • Logos should be placed on clear, high-contrast backgrounds
  • If you are unsure about placement or usage, please contact us

Promotional materials should be shared with the Resilient CARE team for review before finalising. Please allow at least 3 business days for approval.

Grant recipients are encouraged to use their media relationships to help build local awareness of Resilient CARE-funded initiatives.

Planned Media Releases

If you’re preparing a media release, please notify the Resilient CARE team in a timely way. We welcome opportunities to collaborate on messaging and may request to include a quote from a Resilient CARE or partner organisation spokesperson.

Unplanned Media Enquiries

If you receive unexpected media interest, you are welcome to manage the enquiry directly. We simply ask that you let the Resilient CARE team know, so we’re aware and can provide any support needed.

Social Media

If you’re posting about your funded activity on social media, please:

  • Use the approved funding acknowledgement statement
  • Include the Resilient CARE logo in graphics or tiles (where space allows)
  • Use the hashtag #ResilientCARE
  • Tag program partners so we can help amplify your message

Media Consent

If you are capturing or sharing images, video or quotes that identify individuals, please ensure you have obtained their consent. This includes content used in media stories, social media, websites, reports or promotional materials.

People should understand how their image or story will be used and have the option to decline participation.

Where appropriate, materials should include an Acknowledgement of Country that reflects the location of the activity.

You are also encouraged to include the Traditional place name alongside the town or region where possible (e.g. Hervey Bay on Butchulla Country).

Where appropriate please consider the accessibility of the materials created.

Ensuring that all forms of communication are accessible and inclusive is an integral part of facilitating access and inclusion, a core overarching principle in the Resilient CARE program. Not doing so results in barriers to participation for people with disability.

Accessible and inclusive communication means ensuring that messaging and information meets the communication needs of everyone within the community so that the target audience can access, understand and engage with the information you are sharing.
